Hiking Season is still upon us!

Gather your favorite hiking partners and come to Barr Creek Conservation Area. We will be completing our annual fall trail maintenance while enjoying the beautiful forest and sounds of the creek, be sure to take a break at the waterfall! On one of the best kept trails you’ll find in the Cascades we’ll be clearing the trail of over grown vegetation and any pesky invasives we can find. Tools to use for the day include: loppers, hand saw, McLeod/rakes.

Bring: Work and weather appropriate clothing, remember it’s always cooler in the forest. Sturdy trail shoes/boots. A full water bottle, and a sack lunch to enjoy at the viewing bench or trailhead.

Skagit Land Trust will provide snacks, water refill, gloves, and tools.

RSVP: Parking is available at the trailhead 4-6 vehicle limit so carpooling is highly encouraged. Contact volunteer@skagitlandtrust.org or 360-428-7878 to RSVP - and coordinate to ride or drive. Please RSVP by Tuesday, September 12th.
