Ann Wolford (USFS) Property

Property Description

Skagit Land Trust assisted the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in the purchase of the 77-acre Ann Wolford Park from Skagit County in 2002. Acquisition of this property, adjacent to the Trust's Hurn Property, completes years of effort on the part of many community members to ensure long-term protection of this unique area. An elk herd often feeds in the fields of the Trust property and finds important shelter in the nearby forestland.
