Share your thoughts on our Strategic Direction

Every five years Skagit Land Trust takes time to review and update our strategic direction. Guided by our mission to "conserve wildlife habitat, wetlands, agricultural and forest lands, scenic open space, and shorelines for the benefit of our community and as a legacy for future generations of people and wildlife," our strategic direction informs our priorities for the years ahead.

Our current Strategic Direction focuses on the following -

  • Prioritize Climate Change Solutions – enhance ecosystems ability to withstand and adapt to current and future stressor

  • Protect Land that Allows Large-scale Movement of Wildlife

  • Do More to integrate Education & Public Access while ensuring conservation is highest value

  • Make our work more Inclusive and Relevant

  • Expand Public Policy Strategies to Advance Conservation

As we look out to 2030 and beyond, we want to hear your thoughts on the work Skagit Land Trust should focus on. Please take a moment to fill out our quick survey and add your voice to the conversation.

The survey will be available throughout the spring and summer, so please share it with those you know who care about conservation here in the Skagit. The feedback we gather will inform the updates we make to our Strategic Direction for the next five years.
