Please join Skagit Land Trust at our Utopia Conservation Area as we build upon many years of wetland restoration work. During this work party, we'll be planting native trees and shrubs to fill the gaps within a previous planting area. Volunteers should come prepared for a day of physical activity. There are no established restrooms at this worksite.
What to Expect:
The worksite is in a partially forested area that features uneven terrain and occasional wet/muddy spots. Access to the worksite requires walking about one-third of a mile down a muddy, rutted trail. Planting involves bending, kneeling, and digging.
IMPORTANT: You will receive confirmation and more details two days prior to the event. Signups close at 5pm the day before the event.
