Skagit Land Trust (SLT) conserves wildlife habitat, agricultural and forest lands, scenic open space, wetlands, and shorelines for the benefit of our community and as a legacy for future generations. SLT’s prime consideration is protecting the conservation values for which our properties were protected. Where appropriate, public access to Trust owned properties is one of the many public benefits of Trust ownership of land.

Hunting may only occur where, when, and in a manner that is explicitly allowed by the most current version of SLT’s hunting procedures. Hunters must be familiar with and follow all relevant laws, hunting seasons and regulations. Check this page for any updates on these procedures.

Hunters must be also familiar with and follow SLT’s Visitor Guidelines.

  • Trapping, harassment, or feeding of wildlife is prohibited on Trust lands.
  • Hunters may not use lead shot on Trust properties.
  • Dogs must be on leash while visiting Trust lands
*SLT may temporarily close a property to hunting access during the open dates listed below*
