Once land is protected, that’s just the beginning. If we don’t support its care, the land we protect is still at risk. Our goal is to leave a place better than we found it. Saving Land for Tomorrow means we don’t just save land; we keep it saved.

Monitoring & Defense

Annual monitoring of properties, responding to legal & ecological issues, collaborating with partners, Land Stewards, students.

Habitat Restoration

Includes planting, weeding, ongoing property maintenance, volunteer workparties, along with larger-scale restoration projects.

We partner with a number of organizations across Skagit County and beyond, including Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group, Skagit River Systems Cooperative, Skagit County, Tribes, Coast Salish Youth Coalition, volunteers, contractors, crews 

Public Access

  • Trails & other access infrastructure (parking, benches, signage)
  • Wildlife watching
  • Other recreational access including fishing

We partner with Washington Trails Association, Skagit County Parks, volunteers, contractors, crews

Working Lands

  • Agricultural Lands, including working farms
  • Forest Lands – working forests managed for resilience
